Accounts and Billing FAQ’s
Does my account number change?
As Mantax has rebranded to ComCab Manchester, there will be a slight change to your account number. Your account number will now have the prefix MCR. If your previous Mantax account number was 123ABC, your new ComCab account number will be MCR123ABC.
When will my current account close?
Your account will not be closed, it will remain open and active, ready for you to use.
What happens to existing pre-bookings?
All pre-bookings will be migrated to the new ComCab platform. Once completed, new booking confirmations will be sent. This correspondence will include your new ComCab reference numbers.
Will my invoices be different?
Yes, they will be sent by and branded ComCab.
Will my contract with Mantax change?
There will be no change to any of your previous contracts or agreements.
Will I need to update my Bank Details?
Users are not required to update or change the bank details.
Are the rates / tariff the same?
Yes, your rates / tariff will remain the same
Will I have a new Account Manager
No – your account manager will remain the same
Will my dedicated customer service inbox remain?
Yes, please continue to use the existing email address until informed otherwise
Will the phone number to the call centre remain the same?
Yes, for the time being, please continue to use your existing phone number until you are notified.

Will the Mantax brand remain?
No, the company is being rebranded as ComCab Manchester.
Bookings
Will I be sent the drivers contact details?
Yes, all passengers will receive an SMS containing a link to their assigned driver’s mobile number, vehicle details and a tracking link.
How do I book taxi or cars?

Yes. The booking platform is secure
Will ComCab be able to provide the same level of service?
Absolutely, you can expect the same high-quality service that you have always experienced with us.
Do the SLA’s remain the same?
If you have contracted SLAs in place, these will remain unchanged.
Can I still have the online estimates on the new web booker?

Can I still have access to historic data?
Yes, you can contact us on: 01612303333 to request data from before 26th May 2025
Will my management reports (MI) change?
No, there will be no change to your management reporting
How do I obtain a pin?
Any existing Pins or booking references will remain the same
What additional benefits are there to moving to the ComCab platform
As you migrate from Mantax to ComCab, you will continue to receive the high levels of service you are accustomed to.
More modern platform that allows you to book via a more advanced Web and mobile App.
