Mantax has rebranded to ComCab Manchester


As part of a major investment throughout 2025, Mantax will rebrand as ComCab. This transformation includes the introduction of a new booking and dispatch system, an upgraded passenger app, and a refreshed web-booker. By joining the established ComCab network—which already operates in London, Liverpool, and Aberdeen—ComCab Manchester will become part of a leading national black-cab service.

Building on the strong foundation of the Mantax brand, ComCab Manchester will offer enhanced support and resources to its exceptional team. This strategic move is aimed at increasing sales, strengthening brand recognition, and elevating the passenger experience.

For existing customers, it will be business as usual. All routes, bookings, and prior arrangements with Mantax will continue seamlessly. The only visible changes may include updated vehicle branding and a new trading name on receipts and invoices.

There is growing excitement around the rebrand and the ambitious growth plans for the Greater Manchester region. The introduction of cutting-edge technology—designed to rival leading ride-hailing platforms—will empower Manchester’s black-cab drivers with a robust and modern service platform.
